The way to going through an interview is to come in prepared. Well prepared as a matter of fact. Make sure your resume is in place. A little planning might do you good.
- Know the company. Do a background check. Know their history. Their products and services. And their mission and vision.
- Prepare for questions. Be prepared to answer questions about the company and about yourself.
- Prepare your own questions. It will impart to them that you are interested in the job vacancy.
- Look good. Dress appropriately.
- Be punctual. Tardiness is bad and will immediately put a damper on things.
- Shake hands firmly. A good handshake shows you are confident.
- Don’t overdo It. Keep still and punctuate your points with limited hand gestures.
- Relax. Be your self. Many people panic at interviews and start biting their nails.
- Listen closely. Pay attention to what is being said.
- Communicate clearly. Speak clearly and choose your words carefully
- Don’t ever talk negatively about your current or previous employer.
- The most important thing… SMILE!
