Accountants and Auditors: In-Demand Jobs for 2008 New Graduates
Just when you thought finance and money-related industries are the ones hit by the slowing US economy, along come accountants and auditors joining the list of in-demand jobs for new college graduates this year.
Based on a report by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, accountant and auditors are among the jobs comprising the 14 million strong job openings projected to spring up this year. While accounting does not necessarily require a degree and that many non-graduates can fill the entry level positions, accounting graduates will be the better choice.
On the other hand, certified public accountant jobs necessitate both a degree and a license and this what new college graduates should prepare for ahead of time.
